Temporary lodging is available at Ellsworth Air Force Base through the Inns of Ellsworth: The Aspen Inn offers temporary lodging accommodations and includes some pet-friendly rooms; The Cedar Inn offers 48 Visitor's Quarters, and the Pine Tree Inn offers 32 Visitor's Quarters and 8 business suites. Temporary lodging facilities of all kinds fill up fast, especially in summer, so it is recommended that you call as soon as you receive your PCS orders.

Local hotels near Ellsworth Air Force Base are also available but tend to be scarce in the summer when community events are most popular. Private hotels generally take reservations further out, and some offer military specials.
